Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Acadia) is committed to supporting independent medical education through grants. Our focus is on educational initiatives which improve disease awareness and patient care. Globally Acadia will consider applications for grants directed to Rett syndrome, and in the United States, in addition to Rett Syndrome, for grants related to Parkinson's disease psychosis. Requests outside of these areas will not be considered. We support programs which aim to do the following:
- Educate healthcare professionals on disease diagnosis and appropriate treatments;
- Advance scientific education; and
- Improve the quality of care for patients.
